As an 🇮🇪 MMA fan who has been to 5 of his UFC fights, travelling for 4, had all fight posters etc., I have little to no interest seeing the Rapist compete again.
The whole weird thing he appears to have with the treatment of women & all the info that came out of the civil trial has ruined his reputation on this island forever (particularly his responses when on the stand about the tampon being pushed so far inside the victim). Very brave was Nikita taking the case as the was very little upside, but her bravery really was a beacon of awe in the country when the guilty verdict came out. Remember, 🇮🇪 is a small island in the grand scheme of things, only a few million people. We don’t care how much money you have, the fame etc., if you are found guilty of the offences he was, you are a pariah.
I’m a TKO Shareholder, and an MMA Degenerate 😂 who buys so much merch, but I would not spend a single € on the Rapist.
At the end of the day, he made the decisions that messed his own legacy.
And a side note, it frustrates many 🇮🇪 people the fact that he’ll still walkout to The Foggy Dew which depicts the honourable 🇮🇪 that fought for our independence. I doubt Pearse or Brugha (Irish Revolutionaries mentioned in the ding) would be supporters of a rapist.

P.S. was amazing to see the reality that he is only a cog in the TKO wheel, still being forced to stand & sign 100 event posters which UFC will sell for over €2k each!!!

i just have one suggestion for future comments, if you'll allow me - given that almost all women have personal experience with sexual harrassment and/or assault, reading details of a severe sexual assault without a trigger warning can be quite confronting (i've personally tried to avoid details of what he did because i already knew it was bad and did not need to know more).
so a trigger warning (or simply leaving out details) can be a really good idea.
i'm only saying this because you seem like the type of person who would actually think about it :-)
The only reason that I mentioned it so openly is that certain aspects are referenced over here 🇮🇪 in such detail, is not to diminish the awful thing that happened. But I 💯 get where you are coming from, and will put up a warning.
P.S. hopefully I never have to type those things again in this MMA space and can be back focusing on the fights & the business side of the fight game.

I guess there is a beautiful irony in that McGregor should've easily been paid $100 million plus for what he did to Mendes/Aldo/Diaz/Alvarez. But because Endeavor is so cheap they made him play a game of chicken to leverage the Mayweather fight and get his payday at the expense of his MMA career.
It was very interesting to see the Thursday media session with fans and how excited those spectators (in an arena with many empty seats) were for Paddy Pimblett in comparison to Conor McGregor.
