It’s not Russian Booty Bruising or ball-busting testicular takedowns, but Dana White’s “Fastest Growing Sport” Power Slap has a new home — Google.

Yes, YouTube — the internet’s classy digital version of cable access — is ready to platform percussive damage to the ear drums. And Forrest Griffin will be right there waiting to catch some limp bodies LIVE AND FREE on YouTube, presented by new title sponsor VeChain.

The MMA Draw depends on reader support to continue bringing you informative and critical coverage of the combat sports business.

Let’s read the news from this MMA Fighting article:

The deal is powered by a sponsorship with VeChain — a crypto currency firm that is reportedly paying $76 million over the next six years to serve as the title sponsor for Power Slap.

Forbes reported that figure is less than half what Power Slap was previously earning from Rumble at a remarkable $30 million per year. The new deal with VeChain is set up more like a traditional sponsorship so the company is just paying to have their name attached to Power Slap, but there’s no other broadcast deal in place to make up the difference with YouTube.

What’s a VeChain? I have no idea, but I do know that they also sponsor UFC.

Vechain is a Singapore based web3 project incorporated in San Marino (the country) which is a money laundering epicenter. And nobody knows what vechain does. Totally legitimate. Quote Jed I. Goodman © @jedigoodman · 7h Per Forbes, - VeChain will pay Power Slap $76M over the next six years to become the naming rights sponsor of its events.

Yes, there is a point to this article. Actually, three points: title sponsors, bundling, and digital platforms.
