Another week, another fight card where most people have never heard of the fighters beyond the co-main event. This one, which takes place in Jacksonville, FL, is headlined by featherweights Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria, who need a win to prove they could be next man up for a shot at gold (a second shot in the case of Emmett).
The co-main has popular Brazilian fighter Amanda Ribas meeting Maycee Barber. Beyond that… you better get tapology ready… there’s Justin Tafa vs. Austen Lane and David Onama vs. Gabriel Santos.
Neil Magny and Randy Brown are on the card, too, though not fighting each other because that’s too interesting. Instead Magny meets Phillip Rowe and Brown fights Wellington Turman.
There’s is also an appearance for the man with a 100 haircuts, Zhalgas Zhumagulov who is scheduled to fight debutante Joshua Van. Though, we know something weird will happen here to prevent Zhumagulov actually getting into the Octagon.
If you are invested in these fights, why not give our picking contest a go? Each week we ask BE readers to share their picks. Your picks are recorded in our league standings, which will run all year and crown a 2023 champion when all is said and done.
The insider picks, which allow for readers to add explanations to their picks, are an exclusive perk to our founding members.
