The UFC hops from London to Mexico City this weekend with a pretty good card. The headliner is a flyweight match-up between former champion Brandon Moreno and former challenger Steve Erceg. Both will be hoping a big win lets them jump the line at 125 lbs and sets up a fight with the winner of Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Kara-France (two men both men have fought before).

The co-main is bound to deliver fireworks with Manual Torres and Drew Dober due to throw down. These guys don’t know how to do boring fights, so expect some chaos and a big finish in that one.

We’ve also got Kelvin Gastelum testing the credentials of Joe Pyfer and Raul Rosas Jr. taking on fellow crafty grappler Vince Morales.

Brandon Moreno (-245) vs. Steve Erceg (+200)

Miguel Class: Part of the problem with getting rushed into a title shot before having time to acclimate to fighting the best fighters over five rounds is that you don’t get any big steps back in competition afterwards. Steve Erceg came as close as anyone to beating Pantoja, but now with only tough fights like this on the horizon, he has to sink or swim in the deep waters of the flyweight division. He was originally supposed to face Asu Almabayev earlier this month, a far more forgiving matchup, but now instead he has to face down the former champion who recently had a return-to-form…
