After a blissful off-week, the UFC is back and so is the event coverage grind here at Bloody Elbow. I’m making our staff make picks for this card so I’m not sparring you, our readers from it, either.

Our year-long picking contest is rolling on with the hopes of crowning a 2023 champion and furnishing them with a wonderful (and secret prize). To make your picks you simply fill out the survey at the bottom of this newsletter.

There will also be prizes handed out for folks who get the most bonus points and whoever has the best record for any given event (so you can play once and still have a chance to win something).

This week we have flyweights in the main event with Kai Kara-France taking on Amir Albazi. Deeper down the card we have Andrei Arlovski taking on Don’Tale Mayes and Elizeu Zaleski vs. Abubakar Nurmagomedov.
