So are we supporting an OBTUSE and bellicose NeoCon policy - like the Hybrid- and Proxy-war against a Nuclear Power, and Peer-Rival, like Russia? It was always about a doomed attempt at maintaining the US "Primacy", of the unipolar moment that arrived in 1991, with the fall of the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact. Literally every war that has occurred since then, has been about this, unless I'm overlooking something. It's just one of the Economic aspects of the PNAC/CNAS Imperialist madness.

It's a STUPID and Russophobic Policy... I'm not shocked that ruthless capitalists like Ari Emmanuel, TKO and WME would do what actually makes sense for business, by building bridges between Transnational America and Russia.

We're not taking a position on the sanctions, just pointing out that TKO seems to be operating as if they're not subject to them.

Ok… I would say that they aren't - nor should they ever have been.

Sanctions are acts of war. Like doing a Coup right on Russia's borders, using rabidly anti-Russian Nazis, and then arming them, building BioWeapons Labs, and threatening to give them Nuclear Weapons, and admission to the adversarial offensive military alliance.

Just ask the Iranians and Venezuelans about the devastating damage done by sanctions. In the case of Russia, they didn't work…Russia was already too big, self-sufficient - and too prepared to decouple and ‘pivot' elsewhere, accelerating the 'multi-polar' world order.

The history of Wall Street/The City of London creating/bolstering “enemy” powers is a fairly long one. The Brits backed both sides in America's civil war. Both the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany benefited greatly from investments and assistance from western capital.

Prescott Bush, and Allan Dulles both pal’ed around with the Nazis - during WWII. Union Bank got seized by OFAC (and given back after the war ended) - but nobody ever went to jail.

if Ari Emanuel and company want to make a case against sanctions I look forward to hearing it. As an insider in both the Biden and Trump admins, you'd think he'd feel some obligation to abide by the sanctions they impose.

What did Leona Helmsley say about Taxes and 'little people'? It's public statements that get people into trouble…actions go unpunished, all of the time… I recently heard that Ari was Trump's Agent/Manager, for quite some time, pre-dating his overtly political rise… Taking that into account, this seems to make some sense.

The coming Order seems likely to revolve around circuses, and perhaps some bread made from bugs. When the UFC first emerged in the 1990’s, I saw this coming…it's why for many of the early years I opposed it, a bit like Jon McCain… But I have weaknesses like all mortals, that the combat sports are designed to exploit. Rome is a city of Marble, built upon a Sewer, according to Cicero (tip o' the hat to something quite recent from John Leake).
