Will Song Yadong have another barn burner? Art by Chris Rini

The UFC is in the Pacific Northwest this weekend with UFC Fight Night: Henry Cejudo vs. Song Yadong at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA. The main event is an interesting one, with Triple C (as in cringe) continuing to make a go of his second act in the UFC.

The co-main event for this one is a big Middleweight clash between Brendan Allen and Anthony Hernandez. Hernandez might gate crash the title picture if he impresses on Saturday.

Also on the main card there’s Rob Font vs. Jean Matsumoto, Jean Silva vs. Melsik Baghdasarayan and Alonzo Menifield vs. Julius Walker.

Not a lot of name value, I know, but these are all action match-ups that could produce plenty of fireworks.

We’ve poured over the stats and game film and come up with who we think will win each of these fights (and those on the undercard, too).

Scroll down for all those goodies. If you’re using our picks for betting purposes — good luck! But also, please bet responsibily.

Henry Cejudo (+220) vs. Song Yadong (-270)

Miguel Class: It’ll be interesting to see how much Cejudo has left as a 38 year old, but even if he is able to turn back the clock this seems like quite a difficult style matchup. Cejudo is entirely reliant on the mixup between his striking and grappling but struggles to make that work against opponents who are difficult to wrestle. Put another way, Cejudo is not like Merab where the success of his takedown attempts don’t matter. He can’t wrestle indefinitely, so he needs to actually hit a few of his attempts to both slow the fight down and to make his opponents respect his level change feints more.
